Select Salmon was founded by Thygesen in 1997 with the philosophy of making the finest possible fish products. From the beginning our focus has primarily been on smoked salmon....

On the westcoast of Denmark in the little pittouresque village called Ho, the Thygesen family began with a tiny smokehouse with sales for tourists. The business went pretty well because of the excellent quality and the factory in Esbjerg was built and is still growing with approximately 50 employees and export of top-quality products to the Middle East, EEC, Russia and the Scandinavian region
